We live in amazing times, don’t we? I’ve used galleries, classrooms, and the Internet to reach a few million souls (I know, because I looked it up). I hope to get word to a few million more, because I think Art, whether it’s mine or someone else’s, is that important.
Steve is passionate about the idea of an artistic life so much he’s made it his job for the last 40 years. He’s equally passionate about teaching, having taught his particular take on art and creativity for most of those same 40 years. Between all the doing and all the teaching, Steve stumbled onto a very interesting idea. The full potential of which has only recently dawned on him. Coming to understand how these three aspects has profoundly changed how Steve does Art and how he teaches it. It’s made him realize—in the last 6 or 7 years especially—that Art has put him on a wonderfully fulfilling path of personal growth.
